On a whim, we decided to try this place as out of towners. It definitely has good authentic food and everything was amazing- the hummus, babaganoush, chicken shwarma. Definitely will check this place out again on our roadtrip to MD.

Came to eat after 36 holes nearby. Ordering was quick and the outdoor patio and restaurant was packed. I ordered a cheese steak, cheese canoe and Za'atar flatbread. Everything was delicious!

Move over outa the way! This little gem is off the path but find your way! We picked up the Mediterranean sampler and it did not disappoint. Delish dolmade, hummus and especially the pickled vegetables. I'd be back sooner if I lived near but I think my friends that recently moved to Derwood were excited to have a new place with walking distance

Great local find! Their chicken shawarma and gyros are both the best in town! Most everything is made in house, including their baklava, which is fantastic. Excellent service as well.

Had a great Mother's Day lunch at Sasuns in Derwood yesterday. The sampler (hummus, baba gonoush, kibbeh, spinach pies, falafel, Greek salad, rice, pita, tzatziki, and stuffed grape leaves) is only $24 and we added gyro ($4). Everything was delicious. Not pictured we also had the amazing olive feta cheese canoe and lahmajun flatbread which were both amazing.

I've passed by Sasuns so many times and decided to give it a shot. There's lots of parking in the back which I didn't know until I pulled up. There's lots of seating source inside as well which I wasn't expecting. The service was fast and attentive by the two gentleman working there. The gyro was delicious but I would've liked it to be packed more. It was good for an almost meal but with something else it should be sufficient. The vegetarian options were plentiful and would say this a good place to eat at of you're vegetarian. The one item I didn't care for on the veggie sample tasted like roasted mashed up peanuts. Great place to eat at and you won't be disappointed.
